Licence Types & Application
A licence is an authority granted by the Minister or Regulator authorising a named person or company to operate radio equipment in a specified frequency band (and/or time, and/or geographic area, as required). A licence represents the basis for planning for the best use of the radio frequency spectrum and ensuring that minimum interference is caused to authorised users of the spectrum.
