Minister with responsibility for Information, Daryl Vaz, received commendations from Secretary General of the Caribbean Telecommunications Union, Bernadette Lewis that the lead up activities to the Jamaica staging of the Caribbean ICT Roadshow had gone well. Jamaica staged three youth-oriented events across the country that promoted the use of ICT for entrepreneurship and career building. The Caribbean ICT Roadshow will be in Kingston from July 19-20 and will feature exhibits and presentations by industry leaders and policymakers.
