Consultation on Caribbean Spectrum Management Policy Framework
The Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), the Regional body responsible for
telecommunications is currently in the process of reviewing spectrum management
policies and practices across the Caribbean with a view to harmonization, where possible.
The Spectrum Management Authority (SMA) is a member of the Spectrum Management
Task Force established to develop a Spectrum Management Policy Framework for the
Region. The SMA is also a member of the Steering Committee established to coordinate
the activities of the Task Force.
A draft Consultative document has been prepared for analysis and input by key
stakeholders across the region. The document is available electronically at: the SMA’s
web-site, PDF document (size: 116 KB), the website of the Ministry of Industry Technology Energy & Commerce, www.mct.gov.jm and the CTU website http://ctu.connectedcaribbean.com
